The Planet's Climate
Types of climates
Warm climates
- The equatorial climate has warm temperatures and constant rains.
- The tropical climate has warm temperatures and precipitations that are more abundant during some months of the year, creating dry and humid seasons.
- The desert climate has very lottle precipotation throughout the year
Temperate climates
- The oceanic or Atlantic climate has fair temperatures and abundant precipitation all year long.
- Continental climate presents long and cold winters and short, warm summers. It rains a lot, but precipitation is greater im the summer.
- The Medoterranean climate has short winters of fair temperatures and long summers with warm temperatures.recipitation is scarce.
Cold climates
- The polar climate has tje lowest temperatures in the planet and it hardly ever rains.
- The high mountain climate presents cold temperatures in the winter and fair temperatures in the summer. Ot jas abundant precipitation, frequently in tje form of ice.
